Blower, also known as fan, is a kind of motor that uses rotating impeller to convert electric energy into air kinetic energy. The blower is mainly composed of six parts: motor, air filter, blower body, air chamber, base (and oil tank), oil dripping nozzle. The blower operates by the eccentric rotor in the cylinder, and makes the volume change between the blades in the rotor slot to absorb, compress and eject the air. In operation, the pressure difference of the blower is used to automatically send the lubrication to the oil dripping nozzle, which drops into the cylinder to reduce friction and noise, and keep the gas in the cylinder from backflow. This kind of blower is also called sliding vane blower.

Basic Characteristics

1. Because the impeller of the blower operates without friction in the body, it does not need lubrication, so that the discharged gas does not contain oil. It is an ideal gas source for chemical industry and food industry.

2. The blower is a volume operated blower. When used, the flow rate changes little with the change of pressure. But the flow varies with the speed. Therefore, the selection range of pressure is very wide, and the selection of flow rate can be achieved by selecting the speed.

3. The higher the speed of the blower, the smaller the gap between the rotor and the rotor, and between the rotor and the body, resulting in less leakage and higher volumetric efficiency.

4. The structure of the blower determines that its mechanical friction loss is very small. Because only the bearing and gear pair have mechanical contact, the rotor, casing and gear ring have enough mechanical strength in material selection.
